Model terms
Each model is governed by its provider's own terms. Here is how those terms fit with our Terms of Service.
The gateway passes your requests through to third-party model providers. Each model you call is governed by that provider's own terms: their acceptable-use policy, their data handling, and their availability commitments. We do not modify, waive, or replace them.
Review the terms of the providers that serve a model before you send it sensitive data.
Where to look#
- The Providers directory lists who takes part in the routing network.
- Each model's page on Models lists the providers serving it.
- To require a level of data handling instead of reading each provider's terms, see Data policy. Those policies describe each upstream's own commitments and its agreement with us; we do not independently audit upstream implementations.
Your contract with us#
Your contract is with us, under the Terms of Service. Section 5, Model Providers and Model Terms, covers how those provider terms apply to you. How we handle personal data is covered in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
